Customer Account Information

Customers can access their account information online. The information display is customized to meet the specific requirements of your business. Typically it includes fields like these:

Online Payments

The Destwin Fuel Dealers Solution allows customers to pay account balances online with a credit card or by E-check. Customers can check their current balance in the Account Information Screens, and then make their payment online.

Invoicing

Destwin can create invoices for customers that purchase fuel on an open account basis. Invoices can be generated periodically or be triggered by fuel deliveries. Invoice amounts can be the current account balance, or a fixed amount for accounts operating on a budget plan with a fixed monthly payment.

New Customer Signup

The Destwin Fuel Dealers Solution promotes your services and products to new customers, and provides forms to allow new customers to sign up for fuel delivery and other services. Customer signups can be verified by validating email addresses or other information entered by the customer. The customer is prompted to confirm that they have read all terms and conditions associated with signing up for delivery, and agree to the terms. Multiple confirmations may be required. A log of all customer signups is maintained for review in the Destwin Fuel Dealer Solution administrative screens, and email may be sent to the customer and/or designated staff when a customer signup request is submitted.

The Destwin Fuel Dealer Solution provides various methods to validate information provided by the customer including validation of email addresses, requesting multiple acknowledgments from the customer to confirm agreement with the contract terms and conditions, and the collection of customer information which may be used by you to validate the customer's information and open an account.

Online Purchase Contracts

The Destwin Fuel Dealer Solution supports various types of Fuel purchase plans including Prebuy plans, Fixed Price plans, Capped Price Plans, and Flex or Retail Price Plans. The parameters for each type of plan can be set or updated at any time, and individual plan types can be enabled or disabled. Some of the parameters that can be set include plan pricing for all customers or on an individual customer basis, pricing based on account parameters such as K factor, purchase volume, or credit rating, the start and end dates for the plan, and the length of time customers can sign up for a plan in advance of the end date of their current contract.

The terms and conditions for each plan may be configured to fully inform customers of the plan's options and requirements, and to meet the disclosure requirements of regulatory agencies. Pricing for purchase plans may include program fees, which may be adjusted based on the plan's parameters or information from the customer's account. Discounts based on payment method or customer account information may be offered.

The Destwin Fuel Dealer Solution can provide a suggested fuel purchase quantity to customers for Prebuy contracts based on customer account information. The customer may then either accept the suggested fuel quantity, or enter a different quantity. The price of the contract will be calculated based on the selected fuel quantity and the calculated price displayed to the customer.

Supports Separate Accounts for Oil and Propane Customers

The Destwin Fuel Dealer Solution allows you to maintain separate accounts for customers who purchase both Oil and Propane, or to combine Oil and Propane purchases into a single account.

Job Postings and Employment Application

Destwin allows you to post information about available jobs on your website, and accept employment applications online.

Tuneup Scheduler

The Destwin Fuel Dealer Solution provides an online scheduler which allows customers to schedule routine maintenance of their heating system online. Your service manager can specify which time slots are available based on the customer's zone (location) and type of equipment, and the availability of your technicians. This will allow the service department to group tuneup service calls by zone, and by the specific personnel and tools needed to service a particular type of equipment. Based on information in the customer's account record, only those time slots which are available and match the customer's zone and type of equipment will be displayed when the customer logs in. This will allow customers to schedule routine service calls (tuneups) online, reducing phone calls to your customer service department. Your Customer Service Representatives can also use the system to schedule tuneup service for customers who contact you by phone, or to identify customers who have not scheduled service and contact them.

Product Information

Destwin allows brochure type information about equipment and hardware you offer to be posted on your website. If you have an extensive line of products, or wish to manage detailed information about the products online, the Destwin Product Management System is available as an option with the Destwin Fuel Dealers System.

Customer Feedback Form

The Destwin Fuel Dealer Solution provides a Customer Feedback Form online, which can be customized to meet your specific requirements. An online feedback form will allow customers to contact you at any time, provide you with useful information about your customers, and simplify and expedite handling customer problems and complaints. An online feedback form is appreciated by customers, and can help prevent minor issues from escalating into bigger problems.
